It's so sad and so absolutely sickening that our own government would allow this to happen to our own citizens. It is an absolute disgrace. There's just no other words for it and now I'm preparing for another tragedy in my own state. Hoping and praying that our wonderful governor is able to get people the help they need but I'm sure all our national guardsmen are completely exhausted after dealing with Helene and now we have Milton out there waiting to just destroy our west coast. I know I will be helping those who live up that way as soon as it's safe but it's just how much can our people take? No one has the money to go buy extras because of natural disasters. Praying for all those involved. Sometimes that's all we can do.
