America already had its Great Depression. Now it is emperor Xi's turn, but the only three things that might stop China from starting a war is:
1. Their economic crisis becomes severe enough to cause civil unrest that is too widespread and massive to control.
2. The worsening of the massive flooding that is taking place.
3. Both happening at the same time.
