New government came in yesterday in Nigeria, and majority of Nigerians are in a sad mood. I had to check the exact meaning of legitimacy as I was taught my back then to see if this government merits it. But the government is far from it. I don’t think people will forget in a haste what happened in February 25,2023, where multitudes who were protecting their votes were killed by the sponsored thugs, and electoral body declared a winner without following the provisions of the constitution.
